Jaime is a kind of Jill of all Trades and master of none. In school, she excelled at anything creative. She was a member of the chorus and also participated in drama. Always fascinated with photography, she took a class in the subject in high school and spent a few years taking photos at the local parks in scenic Connecticut where she grew up. Though she always favored prose, she began trying her hand at poetry in her teens, which soon led to writing lyrics in her twenties.

For her music and poetry, she chose the name “Ethereal” originally because she was told her poetry was “out there” and few people understood it. (Then again who really understands the poetic ramblings of a teenage heart other than the author and her friends?) In 2005, she released her debut album, the now ultra-rare “Mythillogical.” A few of the tracks received national podcast airplay. Soon after, Jaime aka Ethereal began working on the yet to be released, “Albatross” with the electronic sound that she prefers. The return to college also meant the return to drawing which has been, in her opinion, a mild to moderate success. She hopes to make a return to photography as well and combine all of her creative mediums into a more unique expression.

Jaime has also seen her prose and poetry published on websites, chapbooks and two anthologies. Jaime’s hope is to become a career novelist which will free her up to freelance with digital media, website design and music on the side.

Her favorite hobby is making creative wallpapers of friends and muses, photomanipulating plain prints into digital expressions of the soul.
